Out and about near Helmholtzplatz and fancy an ice cream? At our ice cream shop, you can enjoy your favourite flavours in a cone or cup – including to take away.

Thanks to our serving hatch, you can buy your ice cream directly from outside the café. Perfect for a little break during a walk, on your way home or on a family outing around Prenzlauer Berg.

If you have a little more time, make yourself comfortable inside the café. Especially during parental leave, Spielzimmer is a lovely place to meet and chat with other mums and dads. Whether you fancy coffee, ice cream or playtime together with your little ones, our family café is also ideal for a mums’ meet-up with babies in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.

First Ice Cream. Then a Little Adventure.

At Spielzimmer, you can combine your ice cream break with a visit to our family café. Our indoor playground in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg has a slide, climbing equipment and a ball pit, offering plenty of space for active play and little adventures.

For our youngest guests, there is a dedicated toddler play area with a crawling corner. Here, babies and toddlers can explore age-appropriate toys, practise their first movements and play in a separate small ball pit.

Enjoy your food at the table, then accompany your children as they play and explore.

To use the play areas, admission costs €2 per child per hour. Food and drinks are charged separately. Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their children.
