We also rent out the children’s café to private parties. Therefore, it can unfortunately also happen that we are closed. You can always find our current opening hours here on the homepage or in the description on Google. Thank you for your understanding.
Experience has shown that the children’s café Spielzimmer is quite busy in winter. During the week, we can almost always find a place for you. Monday to Friday mornings are of course the quietest – before most of the children come home from kindergarten or school. At the weekend, it is emptier between 1pm and 2pm. We look forward to your visit!
As restaurateurs, we live from the sale of our food and drinks. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that we cannot allow you to bring your own food and drinks. Thank you for your support!
Unfortunately, we cannot reserve individual tables. If there are more than 10 people, please contact us in advance via contact form odeor by phone. We can offer you a reservation as part of a family breakfast, a children’s birthday party or a private event.
We would like to ask you to park your prams, bicycles, running bikes etc. in front of the café. There is an important reason for this: prams would block the paths in the café. This would pose a risk of injury to the children playing and running around. Of course, we want to avoid this.
Since the founding of the children’s café Spielzimmer, every pram has stayed in front of the café so far. Depending on where you sit in the café, you can keep an eye on your pram through our glass front. If necessary, you can also secure the pram with a lock.

We would like to ask you not to bring dogs. There are important reasons for this: Firstly, the stay would probably be very stressful for your four-legged darlings. The children’s café is loud and busy. Many people are present who are strangers to your dogs.
On the other hand, it could be that guests are allergic to dog hair. Some guests may also be afraid of dogs. Therefore, we ask you not to bring your furry friends with you. Thank you for your support!
Unfortunately, payment by EC card is not possible. Only payment in cash is possible.
